Making a room with a cowboy theme can be very fun, and there are so many choices. Many young children love the old west, and this theme can be created without difficulty. I found the easiest way to get started is to choose a bed.
There are plenty of comforter quilts and western blankets and cowboys available, full of horses, cowboys, and rodeo scenes. The denim bedding set also matches the rough look.
You can join a denim bed, or a solid color bed with genuine Navaho or American print sheets, or sheets with western design prints, such as horses, cowboy hats, boots, etc.
The cowboy blanket sets are usually already coordinating the existing plate cushion.
If you go with a solid view of the bed – there are many throwing cushions with cowboy motifs, red or blue bandana cloth cushions, cow prints, denim, leather, and native American art that are incorporated into the design. Once the bed is selected, the next step is to choose how to care for the wall. If you want to paint it, the earth’s tone generally works best, like warm brown, or the color you like the way it is on the bed. Adobe sees the wall also works well. I highly recommend bringing the bed with you to the paint shop, when choosing paint.
It makes it easier to match colors. Wallpapers can also be used, with a cowboy / western print, but sometimes keep it simple is much more effective. There is a wallpaper pattern that has skin seams. With solid wall color, the limit can be applied. Another option is to buy a wall mural with a western view, or paint western goods directly to the wall, such as cowboys, boots, saddles, horse shoes etc.
Creative Ideas for Creating West Theme Space:
1. Buy or paint wall murals from the west scene. Frame with a rough board to illustrate the “window” that surrounds the scene. Create Western nuances through the use of western, southwest, native American, or Navaho rugs. Use a western blanket and throw it on a chair or bed. Use two western or throw blankets, and turn them into curtains.
2. Log beds and rustic furniture fit the cowboy theme room. Another option is standard wood furniture. You can buy twisted wire or cowboy cables that pull the drawer, or direct the skull button to bandage it. Look for unpainted rough and unpainted wooden floor for bedroom furniture, and apply a simple varnish or stain. Use rustic country shelves as wall accents. You can buy wooden shelves in craft stores. The rack can be painted in coordination color to the room. Light sand edges make for a nice rustic look. Replace the lampshades with western style cover.
3. Find western scenes, cowboys, horses, magazines and books. They can be cut and framed. You can also buy amazing photos online through a website that sells stock photography. Many of these photos are available for a few dollars, and can be printed, framed and hung on the wall, or grouped into small groups on the dressing table. Think of wild horses, worn old saddles, teepees, horseshoes, western scenes and rodeos. Have your child help you!
4. Some accessories to consider: vintage western box, west clock, cowboy lampshades, rustic hardwear, cowboy mirrors, western and rustic lighting, rough throw rugs, lasso, saddles, spurs, vintage or rough vintage frames, old guitars, sheriff badges, lanterns, cowboy shoes, cowboy hats, fake animals. Grab the old lamp, and attach the rope to the base, keep the rope away from the light source.
5. Use a pencil and write your child’s name on the wall loosely. Apply glue, and glue the strap that is twisted in the direction
